Two cats now have a second chance each at life thanks to a water rescue that happened Tuesday on California’s Sacramento River.
The two feline friends were stranded in a tree in high flood waters, and would never have been able to get down to dry land by themselves.
The Front Street Animal Shelter created a ramp to lure the cats to safety, but both refused to cross.
Thankfully, the Sacramento Fire Department was able to step in and organize a water rescue and the two cats were saved.
Both cats are now safe and suffered no injuries.
