Blossom, Once Burned by Fire Now Has a New Life

She was rescued by a women who found her wandering an apartment complex and suffering from third degree burns, the victim of an act of animal cruelty. With one look at that sweet little face it is hard to imagine the horrors she endured at the hands of creeps with no sense of moralistic behavior. After surviving what appeared to officialcs to be either use of a blowtorch or a lighter to the head, Blossom has fully recovered, exhibiting great resilience, and to boot, she has a brand new forever home with her new cat mom, Sherry.
Her foster mother, Humane Society of North Texas’ (Forth Worth) clinical service manager Lori Sanderson, stated that for all her antics and activity, the scars will be a lasting memory of all though which she has gone.
Although Blossom has a new and loving home, HSNT is determined to see the person(s) who perpetuated this heinous crime be brought to justice. For information resulting in the arrest and conviction of the guilty parties, a reward of $7000 . is being offered.
Contact the humane society’s investigations department at (817) 332-4768, Ext. 113, or email investigations@hsnt.org if you have any leads or information.
Blossom, and animals who were and are in similar situations, rely and need our guardianship against those who will wreck havoc on them for sadistic pleasure.
For those who love and care for animals this is an on-going every day battle, but when small victories are won we are all the better for it.
In the photo, see Blossom and her new mom, Sherry Davis.
May those who are cruel to animals have a hot spot in hell waiting for them.
