According to visitors, the imam has also started opening the doors of his mosque for stray cats, so that the felines can escape the winter cold. The Imam is also well known to share photos of the cats on his social media account.
According to a post shared on social media, the imam stated, “Our mosque’s Friday guests, a surprise awaiting us at the sermon today. The kitty has found the heart of compassion and mercy…”
