Ragamuffin Kittens Reunited With Mama After Illness - VIDEO

Ragamuffin, whether you believe it or not, is an officially recognized cat breed. They’re a class of ragdoll, which, yes, is also a real thing. Both breeds have similar siamese-like colorings, but are somehow a lot fluffier. Their fur is almost like a rabbit’s coat, and these breeds are known for being incredibly friendly and lovable.

This breed sounds almost too good to be true, doesn’t it?

When these ragamuffin kittens were born, their breeder became too ill to care for them. At the very same time, their cat mama fell sick also with a severe case of eclampsia, which some female cats get after they give birth. It means that Mama Jolene had low blood calcium levels and was no longer able to care for her babies properly. With both human and cat parents falling extremely ill, these kittens were rescued by a wonderful woman by the name Sharon DeCeuninck. She cared for them when they needed help the most, and thanks to her, they’re all alive and well today.

Miraculously, Jolene recovered from her illness, and was able to be reunited with her litter of incredibly adorable kitties. Although she may be missing her beautiful coat of fur as a result of her stay at the vet’s, this mama cat doesn’t seem to hold her down! She finally gets to play with her babies, which is all any mom could ever ask for after a scary situation like this occurs.

Watching this ragamuffin family playing is pretty much as cute as it gets.

Aren’t they just the cutest little creatures?
