ILLINOIS – If you happen to be looking for something cat-tastic to do on Saturday, June 25, well, then look no further than the “Crazy Cat People Party,” which will be held at the Bartlett Library between the hours 1:30 – 4 p.m.
There will be a feline trivia game, cat-themed adult coloring pages, and all attendees will also be able to make cat wand toys. Participants can take home their handmade wand toys for their own pets or donate them to the People and Animals in Community Together (PACT) Humane Society of Bloomingdale.
And what kind of cat party would be complete if there weren’t any cats around?
The PACT Humane Society will be carting along some of their feline friends for attendees to play with and even potentially adopt.
Adult Services Librarian Alex Cogshell is the person in charge of the program.
Although the program is jammed-packed full of fun with crafts and games, Cogshell explained that she “also designed the event to help raise awareness for June as it is National Adopt a Cat Month.”
You may register at www.bartlettlibrary.org to make sure you have a spot saved in this feline-fun program! Children and teens are also quite welcome, but they must be accompanied by a guardian.
