Watch Amazing Moment Cat Jemima Waddles and Meows Just Like a Duck! – VIDEO!

ENGLAND – Aptly named Jemima Puddleduck after the Beatrix Potter character, Jemima, who is also called Jem for short, was born with a deformity in her leg.

This disability, while is quite painless, causes her to waddle – just like the iconic duck.

Despite this, she lives her life to the fullest at the Mayhew Animal Home in London.

Staff at the animal home stated of Jemima: “Her cute meow makes her sound like a duck and her little waddle means she is a one of a kind.

“A cat to warm your heart and show you that in the darkest day a little Jem shaped ray of light shines through.”

In the video clip below, Jemima waddles and quacks her way around the rescue centre based in London.

First found living as a stray in somebody’s garden, she is now on the lookout for her third home

Described as “the sweetest cat that ever lived”, this precious tuxedo cat has already spent two of her nine lives at the home after being returned recently because her owner fell ill.

She had lived with her owner for two years but was unfortunately, forced to return to the home after they could no longer care for her.

Friendly and very affectionate, the cat loves nothing more than sitting on laps or sunbathing on a balcony or roof terrace.

She would be best homed without other pets but she would be quite happy and content with children.

The Mayhew’s Cat Adoption Officer, Matthew Pearson, stated: “Jemima Puddleduck is such a special girl who will make a fantastic companion for that lucky person or family.

“She’s charismatic, friendly and absolutely loves company, and we would love to find her a loving forever home soon.”

“Despite her leg deformity, Jemima can walk about and can even get up and down steps.

“As she gets older she may get a bit of arthritis in her other legs, but she’s gets around just fine.

‘We are looking to find Jemima a loving home where she will be the only pet.

“She can live with children who are used to cats and it would be ideal if her new owner had some outside space like a roof terrace or balcony as she loves to sprawl out and relax in the sun.”
