All the way over In Istanbul, Turkey, there actually exists a mosque where you can pray alongside cats. No joke! The Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi Mosque’s imam Mustafa Efe has been letting in stray cats for more than a year. He simply wanted to keep them warm during the cold winter days.
Efe makes all of his furry guests feel like they’re at home. The fact is that the kitties are so safe and comfy there that one cat even brought her kittens one by one! She placed her fluffy little balls right in the pulpit from where Efe preaches.
“The kitty has found the heart of compassion and mercy,” Efe noted on Facebook.
