A few weeks ago, the world was rocked by the death of the famous Grumpy Cat. Tardar Sauce’s passing was announced by her owners on Twitter. Grumpy Cat died from complications following a recent urinary tract infection at age 7, and the world will forever mourn the loss of the grumpiest member of the feline kingdom.
At least that’s what we thought. A new contender has entered the arena to earn the title grumpiest cat alive. Louis, a 6-year old Persian cat, may be the replacement that will fill the hole left by Grumpy Cat in our lives.
The Texas cat owned by Michelle Axis looks grumpy all the time. Many people have asked Michelle if he has some kind of genetic disorder, but the truth is that the cat simply looks grumpy. The love-hate relationship with his friend Monae (Lynx Point Siamese) adds to the overall grumpiness of the Persian cat. As his owner explains, Monae was a baby when she took her in while Louis was fully grown. She bullied the poor fellow for months and has the upper hand on him all the time.
Of course, she really loves old Louie, cuddling with him when they’re not playing.
So, even thought the world was heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Grumpy Cat, his spirit will continue to live on through this angry feline.
