The cat’s out of the bag and now Grumpy Cat may have some company in her misery!
Grumpy Cat, who surged to internet stardom, has a rival feline with a sassy stare.
A Japanese cat named by the name is Koyuki is quickly becoming the next big feline internet celebrity with more than 43,000 Twitter followers. Her icy stares rival the original Grumpy Cat’s glares which have since been stamped on memes, T-shirts and also graphic novels.
Koyuki, while certainly a sassy looking cat, might be chasing her own tail when it comes to measuring up to her new competitor. Grumpy Cat, also known as “Tardar Sauce,” has made numerous television appearances, has her own movie on the way and has also been memorialized with a wax figure in the San Francisco Madam Tussauds Museum.
This adorable kitty certainly has the spunk and the scowl to be the next Grumpy Cat, but whether or not Koyuki is a fitting feline successor remains to be seen. Maybe in the end, they’ll find a way to coexist in purr-fect internet celebrity harmony.
