Little Nala and her siblings were all attacked by dogs on the beach.
A neighbor’s daughter did manage to run the dogs off, but the one surviving kitten ran away. When Marc Nelson heard about it, he immediately went looking for the kitten.
As night began to fall, he heard her meows. She was just a mere tiny thing that fit in the palm of his hand. And so, Marc waited a while longer, hoping the mama would return.
She never did come back, and so, Marc began his intense duties of foster-parenting this tiny girl. Marc explained that he had never thought of himself as a cat person, but a little angel named Nala changed all that!
