CALIFORNIA – Once again, another cat has been deserted a cat with channel tape all over its mouth, in a cardboard box.
This one was found close to the Los Angeles County. The kitty was left in the lower-level of a parking garage. Authorities were called in.
The cat is about two-years-old and is now recouping. The cat has since been named Amigo by the staff at the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care.

A representative, named Evelina Villa, is calling this ‘one of the most peculiar and maybe one of the cruelest acts of cruelty’ she has ever seen.
The animal control officer who handled Amigo was stunned, authorities said. The cat had tape over his face as well as on its paws and the poor thing was barely able to move.
Brave: Amigo is now recovering. ‘He was fearful at first, but he’s opening up a little. We’re just happy he’s okay,’ an animal care spokesperson said
Authorities are saying that all of the tape has been removed and the cat is expected to make a full recovery.
“I can’t imagine why somebody would do this to this feline,” stated Marcia Mayeda.
