“Jesus Christ, come on,” an impatient voice on a Go-Pro video says over footage of a red light at an intersection.

A hand comes into the frame, waving frantically at oncoming traffic shouting for everyone to clear a way…

The biker behind the camera leaps off her motorcycle and lunges toward rushing vehicles.

She zooms in in on an orange speck in the road. She discovered it was a tiny orange kitten.

The woman swoops up the terrified kitten and moves to the side of the road, handing the kitten to a concerned woman who was standing by.

“I don’t know who she belongs to!” the bystander yells, as the biker sprints back into the intersection to retrieve her bike.

“Oh my god,” she says, as the little orange kitten shakes and lets out a squeaky “meow.”

“You can just put her in my helmet for now,” said the biker to the bystander.

“If you don’t take her, I’ll take her to work,” offers one of the bystanders.

But it was already clear that the cyclist was already in love with the little orange bundle she first thought was a leaf. “No I’m going to take her,” says the biker. “You’re ok now sweetie,” she says to the little orange kitten.

According to Michigan’s FOX 17, she named the kitten “Skidmark”, and took her home. See “Skidmark” now, all safe and sound.
