Police Save Kittens Reuniting Them With Their Mom

Suðurnes, Iceland - Last night the Suðurnes Police in Iceland pleaded for help on their Facebook page. Why? They had found three newborn kittena which were “discarded” next to rubbish bins as if they were trash.

The kittens were in desperate need of milk, and a mother.

“This is what awaited me when I came home from my daily shift,” wrote a police officer on the Facebook page, a post accompanied by a photo of a tiny kitten.

“Someone either didn’t have room for kittens in their life and decided to put them in the bin, or possibly the mother of the kittens left them there. At any rate, these kittens were probably born just a few hours ago and they don’t have a mother. Police now plead for anyone with a nursing female cat who could possibly adopt them, or if anyone can help us with them.”

The kittens were taken to the local animal authority and given milk but sadly, one of the poor kitties died.

Thankfully, the police published a post late last night stating they had reunited the remaining two kittens with their real mother.
