It took 20 People Working Together to Save Kitten Trapped Under Highway Bridge - WATCH THE RESCUE VIDEO

It took an entire village to save this little calico kitten trapped under a highway bridge in Tokyo, Japan. About 20 people or so (firefighters and transport ministry officials) all took part in the rescue, the Asahi Shimbun reports. After one and half hours, two of the workers successfully brought the little frightened kitten down from the lower structure of the overpass.

A landscaping company came forth with a hydraulic lift for the two workers to reach the top of the bridge column. They even set up a safety net underneath the bridge for the kitty in case she fell unexpectedly.

It’s a mystery how the little calico managed to get up there, but now she is in good hands. A transport ministry official has stated that they have received many offers to adopt the kitten.

When people work together, lives are saved.
