UPDATE - 2 Kittens Thrown From Moving Car Last Weekend May Be Up For Adoption Before Christmas

ONTARIO, CANADA - Nicole Marrow of Ontario, 31, has been charged with animal cruelty after police responded to a report 3 kittens were thrown from a moving car on Saturday.

Two of three kittens cruelly tossed from the vehicle in Hagersville were rounded up by Ontario Provincial Police.

A veterinary clinic in Hagersville treated the kittens who are about four-months-old, before they were moved to the Welland & District Humane Society

They will be ready to be adopted by a loving home just in time for Christmas.

Tammy Gaboury, the humane society’s animal care manager, said the kittens have been checked out thoroughly and are doing OK.

The female kitten has been named Shea. She was spayed on Tuesday. The male kitten hasn’t been named yet and was neutered on Wednesday.

The male kitten suffered some injuries to his paws and will need some more time to recover, Gaboury said.

He has suffered: “minor abrasion, nothing that needs to hold him back from being placed in a home.”

The male kitten will need to be fostered for awhile as his paws heal, but Gaboury said it shouldn’t take too much longer. He will have some medication he’ll need to take, so a foster home that is able to understand and provide for his needs is important.

Gaboury said the kittens are very affectionate and that she would like to see them adopted by Christmas.
