One good Samaritan spotted found this tiny 5-week-old kitten in an awful predicament and immediately contacted the RSPCA for help.
A fireman from the West Midlands Fire Service arrived on the scene to assist in the amazing rescue.
This hero of a fireman literally climbed into the bin to keep the distressed kitten calm and steady while the RSPCA prepared to rescue the kitten from its unfortunate circumstance.
A plastic collar which had to be lubricated to help free the frightened wee one seemed to be the only option they had.
She’s been named “Dusty.”
The kitten is now back to her playful nature at the RSPCA.
“She’s a real live wire, and she’s very chatty I can’t believe she got herself into that position,” Louise Simcox said.
But course anyone who’s had cats knows, it’s these live wires that oftentimes get themselves into tricky situations just as Dusty did in that bin.
The little kitten has been deemed healthy and will soon be spayed which must be done before she is put up for adoption.
Thanks to the good Samaritan who decided to help and not walk away as other might have done.
