Cat Wandered into a Police Station in New York And Didn’t Want to Leave

A stray cat simply wandered into an upper Manhattan police station and stole the officers’ hearts.

The 34th precinct in Washington Heights made the following tweet: “This cat walked into the 34 Pct today. Officer Andrea DiNella would like to know if anyone is missing him ‪#‎uptown‬.”

“He looks like he came from someone’s house. He was very clean, his paws were not long, he had a great disposition, didn’t bite. Very friendly,” Officer Andrea DiNella told NBC 4 New York.

She named the kitty Frankie. When no one came to claim the cat, she took him to a local rescue group called Adore-a-Bullie Paws and Claws, that said they would help Frankie find a new forever home.

“Everybody loved him. We didn’t want to see him go,” said DiNella.

No one came to claim Frankie, so they found a local rescue group that promised to help Frankie to find a forever loving home.

“Everybody loved him. We didn’t want to see him go,” said officer DiNella.
