SPRINGFIELD, OREGON. – The man who pleaded guilty to killing his neighbor’s cat was once again taken into custody Friday.
Tim Bigelow was arrested after police claim he violated his probation.Bigelow was sentenced to a total of 30 days in jail and three years’ probation after shooting and killing the cat in May.
Now, Springfield Police are saying he was arrested on a probation violation and felon in possession of a weapon when officers came to his house.
“They requested our assistance in that a weapon was found, and either that was the violation, or there were other violations of his probation, or parole, on which I’m not familiar,” stated Sgt. Jeff Martin from the Springfield Police Department.
When police checked in on Bigelow, did indeed find a weapon. He was immediately taken to the Lane County Jail.
