There are few things we know for certain about our cat overlords and their mysterious behaviors, but one we actually do know of for sure is that they inexplicably love boxes.
But does this infatuation and obsession with cardboard cubes also extend to larger, undomesticated cats? Researchers at Big Cat Rescue decided to test their theory by placing large boxes in the pens of their big cats, from lions and tigers to leopards. And wouldn’t you know it, those cats get as playful as your average house cat trying to figure out just what to do with these paper cubes.
This is just as interesting as it is hilarious!
