ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA – A tipster told NBC Charlotte they saw an elderly man dump four kittens into a trash can several weeks ago, but thankfully, that’s not the end of the story for those wee ones.
A Good Samaritan retrieved the kittens from the dumpster, who were so young they needed to be bottle fed and were severely malnourished.
After reaching out to Carolina PAWS, the kittens were placed in a foster home, where they have been undergoing feedings every two hours while they’re being nursed back to health.
The foster says the kittens are still small for their age, but that they are very sweet and also loving.
Once the kittens are healthy, they will all receive their shots and will be spayed and neutered, then they’ll be available for adoption.
