Scott Root who is with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources stated the cat was found in Alpine and given into the care of a local rehabilitator, who shared a photo of the young animal.

On Saturday, the DWR posted a video of the bobcat just as she was being released into a new habitat. The post states that the animal is healthy enough to catch and kill prey, so biologist Tom Becker tranquilized the animal to prepare her for transport and release in central Utah.
