The Bag Oí Nails Pub in Bristol which has 15 resident cats. See SWNS story SWCAT; London has its cat cafes, but Bristol has gone one better: a cat pub. A pub in the centre of Bristol will have cat lovers purring with delight when they walk through its modest little door. Bag o' Nails in St George's Road is the talk of the town at the moment and not because of its eclectic selection of fine beers. Sitting at the bar while cute kittens and fat cats step over your pint is all part of the experience ñ and people like it. The landlord of Bag o' Nails has 15 cats and they can all join you for a friendly tipple or two.

UNITED KINGDOM - Cat cafes are all very well and good, but a cat pub has really got everyone talking now!

That’s right people, a cat pub actually exists.

As in, you get to enjoy the purr-fect pint in the company of not one, not two, but 15 cute cats.

We know, we can barely contain our excitement either, because it’s the beautiful marriage of two of two favorite things, namely adorable animals and alcohol.

The name of the pub is Bag o’ Nails’s. The landlord of the building is to thank for the beauty that is this Bristol pub. He said: ‘The reaction is mostly positive. Occasionally you might have some people walking in and leaving and some might be allergic to cats but people love it.’

The cats even have the option to go upstairs for a bit of quiet time when they’ve had enough love and attention from the guests.

Apparently there were once 24 cats roaming across the bar, but that got a bit much so a few of them were adopted out.

It seems, however, that the 15 remaining cats are there at the pub to stay!
