CLOVIS, Calif. - A teacher at Clovis Community College thought she ran into some car troubles on her way to lunch but soon found out there was nothign wrong with the car at all.

Rebecca Crescenti heard the sounds of kittens meowing as she was driving. So when she arrived at her final destination in Clovis she called AAA, who in turn called the Fresno Fire Department.

Three members with Engine 13 arrived and worked very carefully after discovering that a total of four kittens stuck up against the engine. It took about an hour to get them all out safely and soundly.

Crescenti named one Marley because he has the biggest and brightest personality and seems like he is the leader of the pack.

For now the teacher has taken the four kitties home. She is arefully working to find permanent homes for the little ones.
