Jimmy went to investigate and found a tortie cat who just so happened to be giving birth in the bushes. He knew right away that he had to do something to help.
He brought out a large box covered with blankets and helped transfer the kitties.
When he saw the babies, he realized just how tiny they were, and that they were all covered in dirt and filth.
Jimmy went back to the bushes many times to make sure he got all of the newborns so that no one would be left behind. He then moved them all into their home. When Jimmy petted the mama cat, she meowed softly as if she knew that she and her kittens were in good hands and to show her gratitude.
“We’re super excited to welcome them into our family,” Jimmy said. “Everything will be all right. We’ll take care of you, little ones!”
They named the mother cat Mocha and her babies. She and her darling wee ones are all doing very well living inside their new home.
