BRONX, NEW YORK - New York City firefighter Vincent Martinelli rescued four tiny kittens at a 2-alarm fire the other day in the Bronx and damn, is the photo evidence adorable.
In a Facebook post from the FDNY, Martinelli went of to say of the rescue, “It was smoky in the apartment and I heard noise coming from the bay of the floorboards. It was the kittens, they were crying. I found one, and then the others. They are so young. I’m glad we were able to get them out of there.”
And while the FDNY confirmed to Cosmopolitan.com that this social media post would be the only statement they release about the cutest thing ever, Facebook users have since been commenting like crazy with their own takes on the story:
“There’s nothing like a cute, strong firefighter holding a couple of tiny kitties he saved from a fire to make a lady’s heart go pitty pat.”
“I’m positive that there is a fire at my house. Hurry.”
“I may now have to leave Ireland, move to NYC and become Mrs Martinelli!”
Job well done, Mr. Martinelli!
