Black cats are traditionally known for bringing bad luck. Just ask the 1969 Chicago Cubs, when a black feline ran around Ron Santo while just he was in the on-deck circle at Shea Stadium. Some believed that cat was partially responsible for the Cubs losing a huge lead in the National League East that season.
The Sharks, however, defeated the Nashville Predators 5-2 on Friday night in Game 1 of their second round playoff series thus proving, maybe black kitties aren’t such bad luck after all!
