Ohio Firefighters Save Two Cats From Losing One of Their Nine Lives

ORRVILLE, OHIO – Members of the Fairborn Professional Firefighters Local 1235 went above and beyond Tuesday afternoon as they went on a mission to locate and save a family’s cats.

The fire department was called out for a house and barn fire just after 2 p.m. They put out the fire, but it was then that the family told them that their cats might still be down in the basement of the home. Firefighters Evans and Hostetler went in and found both cats, alive and well, and pulled them out to safety.

The lucky felines were returned to their family, but not before they got a little snuggle time from their rescuers.
