Bobo the cat might very well be the world’s furriest shop assistant.
He’s worked in a shop in Chinatown, New York, for a total of nine years and has never taken a day off.
Bobo was brought in when he was a mere kitten when he was a stray and had nowhere to live.

He was looked after by store employees and a lawyer who visited the shop on a regular basis.
The lawyer would periodically take him to the vet and bring him food.

He’s since become a kind of local celebrity and has been filmed for local media.
Bobo obtained a proper caregiver in a woman named Annie, who began working at the shop in 2014.

Annie said to Love Meow: “At the store, he likes to sit near the entrance and greet customers. He has his own scratcher lounge towards the front of the store and likes to sit there. He also likes to look out the window, a curious cat!”
“Bobo’s personality is calm and friendly. He is the only cat in the store. He’s the king of the store!”
