FLORIDA – A frightened cat who hid inside thewheel well of a vehicle that had stopped to help it on the Howard Frankland Bridge is now safe and sound after getting some help from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Just the other day, the cat got out of a brown truck with a silver topper while the vehicle was on the northbound side of bridge. A Lithia woman decided to stop to help, but the cat climbed into the vehicle’s wheel well.
The woman explained that the incident happened so fast she couldn’t tell if the cat was thrown from the truck or just fell. She called for help, and troopers were able to remove the cat safely.
