DICKINSON COUNTY, KANSAS. — Amid all that debris in Dickinson County from Wednesday’s tornado were two newborn kittens who were rescued, KWCH reports.
Crews told KWCH they heard a faint meowing, and then they found two newborn kittens.
They had to completely dig through the rubble to find the baby kittens that were kind of hiding.
Firefighters wrapped them both up in a T-shirt and helped them find their mom.
Jane DeGood with KWCH reports the mom may have actually given birth during the storm.
