BELLA VISTA, CALIFORNIA. – a cat from Shasta County miraculously ended up hundreds of miles from home after he managed to stow away on horse trailer.
Fred, the cat, lives on a ranch located in Bella Vista. This week his family discovered tat he had gone missing.
Through some amateur detective work, they discovered Fred had stowed away on a horse trailer that left Bella Vista headed to North Dakota.
By the time they figured it all out, Fred and trailer had traveled more than 700 miles with Salt Lake City as the destination. His owners wish to thank social media and a ride has been arranged for Fred to get to Reno where his owners will be able to pick him up.
