The Russian invasion of Ukraine brought turmoil and fear, displacing countless citizens. Among those left behind were not just belongings, but beloved pets too. Abandoned and forgotten, these animals faced a perilous existence, but for some, hope was just around the corner.
During a regular stroll in the park, a woman — known for her unyielding spirit of compassion towards animals — came across a lonesome pet carrier. Hovering nearby was a frightened cat, seemingly aware of the looming threats of the park, where unleashed dogs roamed freely. Melissa’s Journey to Trust and Healing
