Chris Arsenault decide to turn his home into a heaven for cats as a way to cope with the death of his son who died in a motorcycle accident.
Today, the Happy Cat Sanctuary holds more than 300 cats, each with a different story.
Some of the kitties came from the street, while others were abused and a large number of them from a neighbor’s home who passed away.
“The Cat Man,” as Arsenault is referred to, relies on donations and the help of the volunteers he has to keep his property running.
With only a $1,000 a week feeding cost, every bit helps.
