North Carolina DA Spends Thousands of Dollars to Find Lost Cat!

GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA – When she’s not prosecuting cases within the courtroom, Pitt County District Attorney Kimberly Robb can be found at home enjoying her time with her pets.

Robb explained her family had asked her take her elderly mother’s cat from Texas back home to Greenville. However, on the ride home, the cat managed to escape her car while parked in Memphis.

Robb stated she knew she had to do something, so she spent more than $3,000 on travel back and forth to help find the cat, with some assistance from new friends.

“When I got back to Greenville, I realized I had not used social media, so I put the missing cat on Memphis lost and found pets, I put the missing cat on Craigslist, put the missing cat on every possible website that I could find in Memphis,” she explained.

After more than a week of searching, Robb received a phone call from a “cat lady” in Memphis, notifying her that her cat had luckily been found. She immediately flew down to Memphis again and returned to Greenville safe and sound with Cody, her new cat.
