Making friends can be hard at times, especially with obstacles such as language barriers, cultural differences and the fact that they’re a cat and you’re an over-eager raccoon with a lot of love to give.
Cats are well known for being aloof and selective with their affections. But that doesn’t seem to stop the keen-as-punch-raccoon in this video from trying to overcome the feline’s innate coldness with all its tiny reach.
What really pulls at our heartstrings is that we are all this raccoon, desperately trying to get a cat to love us back.
We’d hate to think just how many hours, days, years we’ve spent showering a cat with food and warmth only to have it prefer to sit with a complete stranger.
