SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA —The Sacramento SPCA is currently booking new appointments for free cat spaying/neuter surgeries, officials said.


With the generous funding of Sacramento County, these procedures will be offered only for a limited time for cats owned or cared for by Sacramento County residents (proof of residency required), according to officials.

Surgeries booked through the program will be by appointment only and will include:

-For owned cats: Spay or neuter surgery and rabies vaccine

-For feral cats: Spay or neuter surgery, rabies and FVRCP vaccines and mandatory ear tip

To book an appointment for your owned or feral cat(s) at the SPCA Monday through Saturday, call 916-504-2816.
