Still Reeling From The Loss Of His Cat, Man Discovers A Mysterious Note On The Collar Of Another!

Just last month, a man named Scott Ewel was mourning the loss of his cat who died in a shocking car incident. Scott couldn’t bear living without his best friend, who was allowed to freely roam outside with his brother Teddy. However, Scott never knew that his lovely cats spend much of their time in his neighbor’s home where they were bonding with another stranger!

Bear’s devastating demise quickly turned into something more. 2 weeks after his death, Scott found a note attached to Teddy’s collar. It quickly brought tears to his eyes, knowing that someone loved Bear just as much as he has.

This was the note:

“Dear Owner; I’m your neighbor, living in (unit) 4. I’m also your cats’ close friends as they are used to coming to my room everyday.

But one of them (Bear), a bigger one has disappeared for two weeks. Is he OK? I’m so worried about him. He is so lovely cat and always touched my heart. Wish he is fine.”

Scott knew what he had to do next. He wrote back and explained that Bear passed away. He wrote that he was glad that Bear brought joy to other people’s lives. Scott’s neighbor is a Taiwanese exchange student who was enrolled in a nearby University.

Whenever the girl worked on her thesis, the cats would come by and she read her work to them. This made the passing of Bear all the more “poignant”, as Scott explains.

Scott and the student have met each other since then, and he now enjoys the time seeing the photos she took of Teddy and Bear, and hearing more of their adventures.
