Remember the words of the great Mahatma Gandhi? We need to be the change we want to see in the world. In short, this means that change starts within yourself and we should all do that. Well, someone in Manchester took this pretty seriously, covering racist graffiti all over the city with cute cat stickers.
The unknown author is already doing more than the authorities. He obviously couldn’t put up with the racist stuff on walls and started doing something against it. Instead of splashing white paint, he got more creative with cat stickers.
The man or group decided the best way to fight the problem is not to hit it but acknowledge it. It’s a win-win for both the citizens and the actual fight against racism.
This isn’t the first time someone has attempted to fight negative graffiti. In Berlin, for example, some came up with creative ways to ‘deal’ with swastikas.
The so-called Anti-Fascist group has thought of genuine ways to cover up the fascist symbol to the delight of Berliners.
Of course, not everyone liked the idea, but if you ask us, it’s a great way to cover racist stuff.
