Cat and Bear Form fFiendship at Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary! – VIDEO!

CALIFORNIA – A feral cat and a bear have apparently become good friends at the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary.

Zoo keepers are now calling the black cat Little Bear. They have no idea where she came from or even if it’s really a “she.”

She just simply showed up at the zoo and a few months ago she started to call one of the bear exhibits home.

“Every morning we scatter dog food for the bears and she started coming into the exhibit and eating the dog food,” stated Jill Faust, who is senior lead zoo keeper. “Once she started coming in here on a regular basis we started putting food out for her in the morning as well.”

However what has made this situation even more unusual is that the cat has become close friends with a 550-pound bear named Sequoia.

“Sequoia walks right by her, she’ll walk right by Sequoia and they’ll stay pretty close to each other,” Faust stated.

They get so close that even some visitors get quite nervous. Some told us thinking it was dangerous for them to be so close. However, more of them are just very surprised they’re friends.

But don’t let the size fool you. Little Bear and Sequoia do have some things in common. They’re both senior animals, love the shade and each other’s company.
