Redditor Insta1234 refers to the pair “Calvin and Hobbes,” although the ginger kitty’s real name is ‘Fish’, the name actually chosen by the boy.

It doesn’t matter what the weather may be like, Fish waits with his human, even when it’s cold and snowing!

Insta1234 posted that at the end of the school day, too, the cat waits for his little person to arrive home from school.
“I took the trash out to the curb an hour before the bus arrival to find our cat patiently waiting for his friend,” the family said.
