PENNSYLVANIA – A fire broke out at approximately 2am in a detached garage. After firefighters arrived at the scene and started pulling out debris, they heard meowing.
They heard the incessant meowing coming from underneath a shelf, and when they went in to check, they found a tiny 6-week-old kitten at the very bottom of a pile of debris.
The kitten, who has since been named Logi, was lucky to still be alive.
He was completely alone and visibly – unhappy.
Fire Chief Dave Smalley explained that Logi’s mom and siblings may have gotten out, but Logi was left behind.
Thankfully, consequently, Logi was adopted by Stroud Township Volunteer Firefighter Matthew Smalley.
