New hope for world’s rarest feline with discovery of two Scottish wildcat kittens

Scottish wildcats are an endangered and rare species, with only 35 though to be left in the wild in the UK. However, their numbers were recently boosted, after conservation group Wildcat Heaven rescued two weak newly born cuties in the highlands.

If they didn’t help the wild kittens, they wouldn’t have survived. Luckily, they were photographed by a passerby and rescued just in time, which breathes new hope in this endangered species’ future.
