CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – People Assisting Animal Control helped out the community on Thursday by spaying and neutering area cats — a total of65 of them, in fact.
Residents took their cats to PAAC in the morning to have a veterinarian examine them before sending them down to surgery. The owners picked up the cats in the afternoon.
The organization is able do to this with the funding made available through their vaccine program.
They do it with one goal – to help control the outside and feral cat population.
PAAC says that spring time is when they seem to see the most kittens.
