GEORGIA - A Cartersville police officer decided to climb into a “wet and dirty” well, all to rescue a kitten that was stuck inside.
A post made on the Cartersville Police Department’s Facebook page showed a picture of officer Jessie Ours sitting in a pool of water inside the well throughout the rescue.
A citizen reportedly sent in the picture with an note stating, “He went into a wet and dirty sewer and rescued the kitten. Props to Cartersville Police Department! It makes me proud to live in this city and I’m glad my 4-year-old saw this officer do this. I hope this email finds you and your team well. We appreciate your team!”
