Shelter Cat Looking To Be Adopted Ended Up Helping 10 Other Cats Find New Homes!

A shelter kitty whose name is Peter was looking for a home but in the end, he ended up helping 10+ other cats and dogs get adopted too.

When Genesee County Animal Shelter Dogs and Cats posted photos of the affectionate ginger and white kitty, Peter, hoping to find him a good forever home, they got a whole lot more than they expected.

“Peter is a big love. He just wants to be held, snuggled and talked to. He is very unique looking and neutered,” the shelter went on to write in a description of the cat on Facebook.

The photos quickly went viral and the post was shared in upwards of 10,000 times.

People just couldn’t seem to resist his adorable face.

Peter has unique markings on his face and a huge personality to go with the look.

He was in the shelter for a long seven months. And so, the staff decided to take photos to help him find a good match. It didn’t take long at all for the public to respond to this little charmer.

Everyone absolutely fell in love with Peter, and around 28 people came before noon, hoping to take him home.

Here’s the ginger boy giving his caregiver a kiss on the nose.

Melissa Graham was the very first person to walk in the door to meet Peter and it was truly love at first sight. The ginger boy quickly cuddled right up to her and made her his forever human.

With help from the Internet, not only did Peter get a new, loving home, but more than 10 other cats also got adopted that very day from his fame.
