When this cat, whose name is Roger was first found on the streets by animal control officers in Naples, Florida,
He was completely immobile and cannot use his 2 back legs. With his bad condition, Roger the cat was in danger of losing his life.
Fortunately, though, a group of good samaritans rescued him.
A Shelter veterinarian, whose name is Karen Brown at Collier Domestic Animal Services tried her very best to save the poor cat after surviving an awful act of cruelty.
Following eight months of steadily administering prednisolone steroid injections into Roger, the cat slowly but surely gained back the use of his two rear legs. And from that point on, he was transferred to the Naples Cat Alliance for some extra TLC.
While he was still recovering, Roger found a brand new friend to lean on. the organization’s in-house cat-loving dog, whose name is Bitsy.
What a sweet story!
