ESSEX, UK – The RSPCA have recently rescued a six-week old kitten who was found inside a shoe box in Essex.
The cardboard box had been taped shut tightly with silver duct-tape.
A member of the public found the black and white kitty after hearing meowing sounds coming from the abandoned box at a bus stop in South Ockenden.
The RSPCA say the kitten – who is now named Loboutin – is in very good condition despite how she was found.
“She’s such a gorgeous playful little thing it is incredible to think someone would just dump her like that,” said the RSPCA.
The RSPCA say little Loboutin will be up for rehoming very soon and that it is expected he will be snapped up rather quickly. In the meantime they are appealing to anyone with information about what happened to get in touch by calling the RSPCA Cruelty Hotline on 0300 123 8018.
