Young Cat Rescued from 85-Foot High Tree

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN – A tiny, five-pound grey kitty was rescued Thursday after being stuck up in a tree for nearly two days.

The mystery kitten was rescued from the 85-foot tall tree by TNT Tree Service. The cat was up way too high for other tree service bucket trucks, but TNT had Eric Baker, who knew just how to scale the tall tree. In just 30 minutes, he had the cat in his bag and lowered to safety.

Tom and Robin Walenga are the ones who originally made the call for help to get the kitten down. They are now caring for the cat, but are hoping to hear from its owner. The cat was found on the 3000 block of Ivy Road NE. If you are the owner of this cat or know who the owner is, please send an email them at rlwalenga@aol.com.
