Cats to Put Their Best Paws Forward in Knoxville Competition!

KNOXVILLE TENNESSEE – Some people are dog lovers while others prefer cats. The Tennessee Valley Cat Fanciers, Inc. wants to provide cat lovers with fun.

The organization’s Cat Show will be held on March 26. This is the 39th show that the group has hosted. The event celebrates all cats and provides animal fans to see more than 40 breeds.

More than 200 cats of all ages will be competing in a variety of divisions at the event. Fans are also able to enter their pets into the competition.

Here’s the best part! Cats and kittens will be available for adoption right there at the event. The organization has partnered with Young-Williams Animal Shelter, Feral Felines of East Tennessee and the Stray Connection. Both of these non-profits work to find homes for the animals.

Guests may shop from a variety of vendors in attendance. The vendors will include: Siamese Rescue, Smoky Mountain Cat House, Pet Supplies Plus, Federal Feline Furniture.

The event will be held at the Chilhowee Park Jacob Building from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Cat lovers will be able to purchase tickets at the door. Tickets cost $4 for seniors and students and $6 for adults.
