There seems to be a couple of special friends over in Ekaterinburg, Russia – a cat named Rex and a ferret whose name is Keanu.
Rex was literally tormented when he was only months old, and his spine was broken. Rex’s new human built a wheelchair to help him walk again.
The poor cat was quite sad at first, but the outgoing Keanu quickly became his companion, and now they play and even sleep together.
Over time, Rex’s spirits have greatly improved and so has his condition.
How could it not when you have a friend like Keanu?
